## /beliefs
### Decisions
- Two-way door decisions should be made instantly
- Judge a decision by what you knew when you made it
### Disagreement
- Leave your opponent a golden bridge
- Disagreements often stem from mixing understanding and opinion
- Knowing something means knowing its contrasts
- View an opposing view in its best possible light before criticizing it
### Mind
- Your past is a draft you are free to reframe
- Most bad thoughts can be disarmed by speaking or writing them
- When answers are cheap, questions are the scarce skill
### Living
- Hype is worth the potential disappointment
- Acquiring power and using it well beats small-time kindness
- A billionaire cannot appreciate life even twice as much as you
### Work and mastery
- In a bad film you can still be a good actor
- Being scared of failure means you have not failed enough
- Let your high energy self plan for your low energy self
### People
- The world runs on incentives
- Doing unto others can impede empathy, so weigh your differences
- Always look for favors with low cost to you and high return for others
